Archetype Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Functional Lead to join our Cybersecurity Practice and enhance our focus on cloud security and security data lakes. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and security data lakes, specifically in relation to platforms such as Snowflake Cybersecurity Workload and AWS Security Data Lake. As an expert in cloud security, this individual will play a crucial role in shaping our cybersecurity practices and safeguarding our clients' data.
As a Cloud Security Functional Lead, your primary responsibilities will include the development and implementation of security strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices throughout our organization and for our clients. Furthermore, you will collaborate with a variety of teams and stakeholders to guarantee the successful execution of customer commitments and foster ongoing enhancements in our cybersecurity services.
Lead Archetype Consulting's cloud cybersecurity practice and serve as the subject matter expert
Develop and implement security strategy, standards, and architectural patterns for clients
Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple projects, workstreams, and internal teams
Lead the adoption of Snowflake Cybersecurity Workload, AWS Security Data Lake, and other relevant platforms
Establish and maintain internal cyber security labs to ensure they are ready for demonstration during customer demos
Establish trusted relationships with clients through face-to-face reviews and provide timely solutions to their security challenges and requirements
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their security needs and aligning Archetype Consulting's services accordingly
Support pre-sales efforts by collaborating with sales teams, ensuring product and service selections meet clients' business and technological needs
Collaborate with business development teams in the pursuit of new business opportunities
Plan and manage budgets for capital expenditures and operating expenses in alignment with management targets
Develop innovative approaches to address complex challenges by engaging with business partners
Create and deliver mechanisms for tracking progress and informing decision-making processes among senior leadership
Maintain expert-level knowledge in several of the following areas:
Zero Trust
Security Data Lake
Cloud Security
Data Security
Active Directory
Risk Management
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 15 years of experience with Cyber Security and cloud security, with increasing responsibility
Demonstrated experience with Security Data Lakes, Snowflake Cybersecurity Workload, and AWS Security Data Lake
strategic planning experience (e.g. organization strategies)
business development experience (e.g. managing opportunity pipelines and developing bids for requests for proposal)
interacting and briefing C-suite government and industry leaders
working in a program planning and delivery leadership capacity
Professional security-related qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GIAC or equivalent are highly desirable.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures
Knowledge of industry security standards, regulations, and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience in conducting security audits and assessments
Proven track record of managing and delivering complex cybersecurity projects
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Familiarity with other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
