Having recently gone public, the young Boston-based startup’s SEC and management reporting needs were steadily increasing in complexity, requirement and compliancy.

Additionally, anticipated financial requirements for future stages of development called for consideration of a sophisticated planning and forecasting application. With no dedicated internal IT support within the organization, the company required a reliable cloud-based tool that would solve their needs while keeping on-premise IT support small-to-nonexistent.

The initial objective of this project began with implementing a starter package of PBCS. This was done to enable the biotech organization more efficient management and forecasting of their financials and cash flow.

After a seamless Archetype-led implementation, we partnered with the organization to measure, assess, and ensure that the implementation of a mature planning system, especially in the early stages of a company’s financial evolution, proved successful.

With a deep understanding of the Life Science industry, Archetype has built a strong financial planning platform that meets the current needs of business partners, but with a keen eye also on the future. The application will integrate seamlessly with a host of additional financial and reporting tools as the company continues to mature.
