With limited access to reporting through Sharepoint, Mimecast was looking to track the status of open requests in their vendor onboarding process, as well as evaluate the efficacy of the process. To do this, Mimecast wanted to develop an automated dashboard that aggregates data from the SharePoint lists that are used to manage the Vendor Onboarding Project.
Archetype developed an interactive dashboard using Tableau that presented a summary of open requests as well as trends over time that were filterable by several dimensions.
After this implementation, Mimecast’s Legal and Procurement groups gained the ability to track their key metrics over time and use it to implement process improvements to increase efficiency. It also gave them an easy way to status the open requests and immediately follow up with owners for resolution, allowing them to close requests quickly.
